Pawstify ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website pawstifypets.com and the Pawstify mobile app for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website or app.

1. Information we collect

Website and waitlist

When you join our beta waitlist on pawstifypets.com, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, the type of pet you have (e.g. dog, cat, other). We may also collect referral or campaign information (such as UTM parameters) when you arrive at our site via a link. We use this information to manage the waitlist, send you a welcome email and your position in line, and notify you about TestFlight and product updates.

Website analytics

We use analytics tools (e.g. PostHog) on our website to understand how visitors use our site—such as which pages are viewed and how you interact with the waitlist form. This helps us improve the site. Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and may collect general usage data (e.g. device type, browser, approximate location at country level). We do not use analytics to track you across other websites.

Pawstify app (offline-first)

The Pawstify app is designed so that your pet's health records, reminders, and related data are stored primarily on your device. We do not routinely access or collect the health data you enter in the app. If we introduce optional cloud backup or sync in the future, we will describe that in an updated policy and ask for your consent where required.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to: operate and improve our website and app; communicate with you about the beta, TestFlight, and product updates; send transactional emails (e.g. waitlist confirmation); analyze site usage; and comply with applicable law. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing and disclosure

We may share your information with service providers that help us run our business—for example, our email provider (Resend) for waitlist emails and our analytics provider. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

4. Data retention and security

We retain waitlist data until you ask us to remove it or we no longer need it for the purposes described above. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To request access to or deletion of your waitlist data, or to unsubscribe from our emails, contact us at hello@pawstify.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. You can also use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send.

6. Children

Our website and app are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. International users

Our services may be accessed from different countries. By using our website or app, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in accordance with this policy, including in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
